What is the agenda of the NAACP?

In the September 17 issue of Atlanta Voice, Benjamin Jealous, president of the NAACP, stated in a column regarding a march in Washington on October 2, "We did it when we fought the rampart lynching of the south, when we desegregated the military, when we dismantled Jim Crow, passed the Voting Rights Act, and when we made health care reform a reality for 32 million Americans."

So let me get this straight: ObamaCare is a RACE issue? Since when? Or do you think the NAACP's mission has changed from racial equality to the support of progressive, socialist ideas?

And while I am here, why are we having yet another march? Ever since Glenn Beck had his Restoring Honor rally on August 28, Ed Schultz, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and now Benjamin Jealous have all announced marches off their own (although Stewart and Colbert may be having theirs together). Why is that? Are they intimdated by the overwhelming success of Beck in his rally, that it may be used to help stop the Democrats and their anti-American agenda?

I am willing to go out on a limb and say yes. But for them, it is too late. Real Americans are sick of this, and we can indeed see November 2 from our houses.
